Arrival, Parking and Shuttle Bus: Friday
Registration will take place in Áras na Mac Léinn, NUI Galway. A shuttle bus service will run from the Galway Bay Hotel to Áras na Mac Léinn commencing from 4pm on Friday afternoon until 6.30 pm. Delegates are encouraged to take the shuttle service druing peak traffic. The shuttle will return to the Galway Bay Hotel with service commencing at 9.15pm, with the final shuttle departure from NUI Galway at 10.45pm on Friday evening.
If you are arriving by car, please read carefully below the details of parking facilities available to delegates.
• If you are arriving from 5:30pm onwards, you are free to park anywhere on campus. Please note, parking on campus is permit-only parking between 9am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (with clamping processes in place for unauthorised visitors).
• If you are arriving between 4:00-5:30pm, you can avail of free parking in the Dangan Park and Ride facility. You will not need to display a parking permit in the Park and Ride facility. You will then take a shuttle bus to the main campus, which takes 5-7 minutes. Student Ambassadors will meet you at the end of the shuttle bus journey and escort you to the registration desk. A shuttle bus to and from the Park and Ride facility will be provided until 10:30pm on Friday.
• If you are arriving before 4pm on Friday, you can avail of free parking in the Dangan Park and Ride facility but you WILL need to register online in advance for a free parking permit. You will then take a shuttle bus to the main campus, which takes 5-7 minutes. Student Ambassadors will meet you at the end of the shuttle bus journey and escort you to the registration desk. A shuttle bus to and from the Park and Ride facility will be provided until 10:30pm on Friday.

A shuttle bus service will run from the Galway Bay Hotel to Áras na Mac Léinn commencing at 7.15 am with the last departure from the hotel at 8.45 am on Saturday morning. The shuttle will return to the Galway Bay Hotel at 4 pm, with a final departure on Saturday afternoon at 5 pm.
There is free parking in all car parks on campus on Saturday and Sunday.
Please also know that all delegates will officially receive their information and workshop allocations on 24th February
Please remember to book your conference place for our National Conference 2020, hosted by NUIG. The Conference Organising Committee have put together a wonderful selection of workshops, with keynote speaker Dr. Harry Barry, and our hosts have put together a fantastic weekend for us.
The cost of the Conference has remained for 2020 as in the past at €120 for members who book by Jan 31st. Please note that those who register after this time will be charged a €50 surcharge and will not be processed until the morning of conference itself.
